In this video I answer the most commonly asked questions that I've gotten since I converted to Islam over 4 years ago. I answer questions like why convert to Islam, if I converted before or after I got married, when I put on the hijab, how I stay motivated to pray 5 times a day, what you say when you convert to Islam, etc. Hopefully you find this video helpful in some way or that you find it helps you get to know me a little better.

There is something in common with converting to Islam confession videos. They are calm, their faces are bright, eyes are glowing and they tend to smile. This is evidence of the sweetness of imaan or faith in the heart.

We are happy for you, sister. May Allah grant us all Jannah

I have so much respect for Islam. I grew up in a Christian family. There's so much about Islam that I resonate with.

I relate to a lot of the things you mentioned. I have been reading the Quran and am feeling more peaceful and it is really impacting me. My husband is Muslim and I have never been pressured to convert. Thank goodness or I may not have found Islam favorable. I am contemplating Shahada now but am so nervous if I am ready. Your video was so helpful. As a nurse also, I feel some similarities too. Thank you 😊

I’m only two minutes in, and I want to cry. As a born Muslim, I often take Islam for granted, because it’s always there, but my iman isn’t always strong. I’ve also had the “what am I doing with my life” feeling, and it’s so painful and difficult. Converts/reverts are so incredibly special. ❤️

I've been a Muslim since day 1. Our Muslim sisters and brothers are all extremely proud of you. May Jannah be in our future.

maşaAllah la guvvete illa billah. I am muslım. I am 45 years old and I need so much "dua" from you. When Islam is so vilified by the media. And despite the many bad examples of "so-called" Muslims and despite the fact that Islam has many more prayers than Christianity and Judaism. It is a great blessing when a person converts to Islam. Alhamdulillah. ( sorry for my bad english I used translator)

Really agree with the of "scheduling our day around prayer rather than trying to fit prayer into our day"

The salah (5 mandatory appointments) with God is like time-out from the world & connect to the Real. Prayer is part of Salah but is not the only part. It's like having a conversation with God....this is given us to help us on our journey through life & not to be a burden.

The moment one asks "what is the purpose of this life", one buys a ticket to Islam.
