The world cup can definitely provide easier group stages, but the knockout stages of the WC are a completely different level of intensity and passion than any other tournament in existence.

Copa America since 1916, Euro Copa since 1958.

Euros have much, much better quality. Not even close. Copa America is like a boxing match each game. But I would like to swap Copa’s referees with Euro refs. I feel like the South and Central American refs let way too much stuff go, which leads to matches going off the rails.

Bro, not even close, this isn't a question - the euros are BY FAR the better competition, better players (minus messi, more than marginal), better funding (way more), better (slightly) officiating, better stadia (and fields-of-play), better atmospheres (not even close), better styles of play and tactically better (slightly)...no matter how you slice it, the Euros are superior in legit every metric!

The prayers at Europe are from America countries, the last world champion is from South America.

Conmebol has 10 federations. 8 of 10 have won the Copa. So much competitive.

So if an unknown german lady says that watching Austria vs Poland or Ukraine vs Georgia is more exciting that watch Argentina vs Uruguay or Brazil vs Colombia is must be true 😂😂😂😂

I'm invested in the Copa, I'm actually going to USA v Uraguay but the depth of quality in Euros is not close to Copa the top teams in Copa are good but the drop off after top four teams is pretty dramatic

Europe doesn’t pay attention to the other side of the world? Since when?

Conmebol and Concacaf should commit to keep this format for this Copa América to be played every 4 years

does it matter? in the end, they both serve as good competition to prepare teams for up and coming WCs

Right now, probably Vinicious Junior the best player.

They are both good but Europe have more better teams wich make it harder and more competitive to win.

As a german living in Berlin of course the Euros are the greatest football event this year by far. If I lived in America, however, I´d took a deep dive into the Copa A. As far as I can tell it´s as exciting as what we have over here.

Alexi cant stand the fact that the US is not the top in a sport. European football culture is unrivalled. I would be ok for the Euros to take place every two years and get rid of FIFA.
