Will these lenses work with the small rig phone case with its optional 17mm lens mount?

I wish you provided the FOV (field of view) specs for both lenses on the Pro Max. How much of an image does it capture? And what is the real magnification, depending on one's monitor or printing needs? Best way to do this would be to take a photograph of metric ruler, or better, a sheet of GRAPH PAPER (available in stationary stores, or Amazon), with 1x1 cm squares and 1x1 mm subdivisions. This would also show the available sharpness corner to corner.

Photos and footage look fantastic Blake, if it were I, I’d have sent my daughter into the yard to find some bugs. A squirming insect on a green screen, 50fps conformed - sounds like a cheap home made Godzilla movie waiting to be made!

What kind of setup did you use to capture video? If I understand correctly the macro lenses need to be touching what they're shooting. Are you just sliding the lens across the quarter, or do you have some fancy tripod attachment?

I think the on-lens ring light is a problem. Maybe using other lights further away from the lens could make things look better and help capture more detail and texture.
