Main Colt rank 31 here. Sorry but in an actual match you don't use almost any trick of them except for the "diagonal shot". That's true. Here comes some tips and pro tips from someone that only plays Colt for at least 2 years with randoms:
1. Try not to be still while shooting... With practice, you will be moving in the same direction as the enemy and hit almost every bullet.
2. Don't spend all the 3 shoots in one fast attack, this will help you to do this trick: Again some elusive brawlers like Crow or Leon, shoot in the direction they are moving, then they will go in the opposite direction, in that moment you shoot again in their first direction and you know... They will be coming back to their first direction (where the second bullets are going)
3. Doing the first tip you'll realize you won't need the gadget "Silver bullet", you'll see that the super actually reloads very fast, so... The 3rd trick: The best moment for the reload gadget is when you respawn and the other team is coming to score, and the second one is when your team is going to score, other moment is wasting the gadget
4. Pro tip: When you have the super and there is an enemy brawler behind a wall, don't shoot, wait for some other enemy brawler to get closer to them and then shoot for the two of them. You almost every time will kill both.
5. Pro tip: Against Mortis: Always stay back, the Mortis will wait for you to spend your ammo, so, when they start coming for you shoot for the direction he is coming to only one time, and when he starts attacking you, you only push autoaim... Morty killed.

Bonus tip : shoot first to one direction and immediately to the other so the enemy gets stuck between the small angle and you will most likely hit more bullets.
