The rights of the consumer are protected by the consumer protection laws of India. However, lot of people remain unaware of them and accept misinformation or lack of information and wrong service without a complaint. However, everyone needs to be aware of consumer rights and how it effects are daily lives and how to enforce it. We may or may not need the information, but there are people in our immediate environment who need consumer guidance.
