My 25-year-old son was a certified auto mechanic until he had a traumatic knee injury, a dislocation which is like an interior amputation. He still has his knee but it’s a mess. He now has a desk job doing automotive troubleshooting for one of the Big Three and is able to work remotely from home but he is not fulfilled. I am going to share your comment with my son. Inspiring!

I love watching Anthony squirm when DR gives bad advice about modern things, it's honestly the best part of the show. Usually, it deals with relationships.

To me, it sounded like he had some past experience with gaming addiction and didn't want to relapse. He described gaming as "one of his biggest weaknesses" and why he didn't want to get in front of a computer because of "the chances of getting into different gaming stuff". Brian needs to fix that addiction first and learn how to use computers without falling into addiction again.

Doesn’t seem as easy as Dave thinks to get an IT job. I’m a junior in computer science with above a 3.0 gpa (which all the postings ask for) and i’m struggling to just get an internship...

I think the dude feels a little guilty being a gamer. Society programmed him - and not for entirely bad reasons - that gaming is a frivolous waste of time. So he feels guilty taking it as a career path. But the thing is, if a game company pays your bills, feeds the kid, and makes you financially independent, it ain't frivolous. Just beware the crunch.
