Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.

I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

Rick shooting a 78 is darn good. Now I just finished my 2 round on Sawgrass this week. Shot level both matches. Was going to play a 3rd, but my wife made me turn off the computer and go grocery shopping 😢. 🤘😎RS

I need to watch Rick Shields play TPC Sawgrass asap! I've loved everything about playing the game of golf. Rick's multiple Youtube channels has rekindeld my love for the game I used to be able to play. I broke my neck 27 years ago and had to retire my clubs for good. I was a PING loyalist back when I could swing the clubs. My first complete set of irons was the ping eye 2 (black dot). I love Rick's videos! I'm able to enjoy a round with him and his amazing playing partners on Youtube! Please let me see the course through Rick's video! I have no other way to get a first hand knowledge of the famous TPC Sawgrass leading up to The Player's Championship! Thank you!

I just went and watched last year’s video at Sawgrass… I have seen it before and had planned to just kinda skim through it. But i watched the whole thing again! I know you were 6 over on the round, but what a great round! The finishing hole was pretty epic. You placed that ball almost exactly where you were instructed…. I may need to go back and watch some more older videos. I hope you eventually find the footage from this latest Sawgrass trip…

Move over kate middleton, this is the new huge conspiracy. Rick shot 120. We demand the footage

The most disappointment comes from not seeing more of Nick.

My favourite part throughout the video is to see how the caddie thinks about every hole and the tips he is giving. This is very helpful in my own game, to recognise that you don't always need to hit the driver as far as possible. Sometimes you need to hit is shorter from the Tee box to have a better angle and approach shot to the green. Thanks for your video's and strongs in finding the footage.

This year's birdie on 17 looked more fun than the dreaded 6-foot comebacker for par on last year's round. My friends and I live vicariously through your golf adventures! Love what you and your team do, cheers!

Sorry to hear about the lost footage. You still produce the best golf content on YouTube. As a amateur golfer I've learned a lot about golfing from your tips. Hope you find the lost footage.

thx RIck for the update (and in case you find the footage i know it is back now :) ) YEP it does stink since I love this golf course!! come on RIck 78 is more than respectable!!! especailly i guess in pga tour set up!! be more indulgent with you that is pretty pretty good to break 80!!! I went there with my Pga tour coach and he shot 85 (and he plays more than you although not massively as anybody would expect cos not much of free time) and 77. the other PGA tour coach who was playing with us shot 88! so congrats buddy any pga tour course in comp set up breaking 80 is massive mate!!!! and quick response to your podcast and what Guy said about your burying mood. it is not because we relate to you and frustration it is just because you get to play the most beautiful courses in mostly awesome conditions that less than 1% of your viewers will ever play, obviously you can comment negatively your bad shots but hey man, it should not drag since you are playing great golf courses!!! that only should give you an overall f... smile!!! :) cheers mate and peace

That's a helluva score. One of the companies I was associated with had a corporate membership. Big time clients/prospects/suspects were flown to Orlando, stayed at the Wyndham and rounds at Sawgrass. No one, NO ONE, broke 90 the first time playing, ever, over 10 years. Most guys didn't break 100. It is difficult, intimidating, mentally draining. I've seen grown men cry with frustration, drink heavily, ask to leave the course.

We never closed a significant deal😢😮

78 back to back years! 16, 17, 18 this year you went par, birdie, par. Last year, for those same three holes, you went bogey par birdie to finish on 18. Very respectable two rounds at Sawgrass. Congrats Rick on your hole 17 birdie this year, and congrats on hole 18 birdie last year. Congrats on all the success and thank you for your dedication to the fans! Love the channel!

2 on 17, that smile after sinking that putt, bet that felt amazing, good luck finding the lost footage.

Sorry to hear about the lost footage. At least you have footage of 17 and the great birdie. Next time you will break 75.

Sorry to hear about the loss of the footage Rick. But your face on the 17th shows your emotions on playing this incredible course.

I feel this. We run our original cards + 2 bsck ups on all international filming trips now because of this exact thing. 2 separate external hd’s with 2 separate people + the cards all separately, sounds over the top but if you loose your footage there’s nothing

When I worked as a photographer/videographer I used to always back up my images/footage, and then make a back up of that.
Why? Because on one big (and important) job, the photo desk where I handed in my memory cards formatted the cards without putting them on to the computer!
The first and only time it happened in my 15 year career (I then bought another 5 memory cards to ensure I could keep all the data and switch to empty ones) but I never wished to have that blind panic again - realising I had to go back to the subject and ask to do the shoot all over again.
