Tried the V14 at NB Store in Ginza, Tokyo. There is more room on the toe box but the V13 looks better for me (that is, looks less duck shoe). I also felt the difference in softness of the insole is not that much but then I don't use the 1080 for running; only for daily brisk 10K-step walking, including work in Tokyo. NB Ginza electronically measured my foot to be 27/26.8cm long in M width which means I can wear both the D and 2E in Size 10 (for reference my Nikes are always 10.5). Tried both widths & while the 2E fit was amazingly comfortable, the standard one looked sleek albeit snug - so I chose the V13 D. For the V14, standard width is roomy enough - similar to the V12. If anyone is travelling to Tokyo, it's the cheapest 1st world country to get a V14 (JPY19, 800 w/ tax - do the math) at the store & the V13 via NB Japan Online. Any visitor would notice that NB is the sneaker king of Tokyo right now.

I appreciate the content. My two cents for future videos would be to try to give unbiased feedback on sneakers that are being released. There’s instances, this is one of those, that as a consumer of your content I can tell you’re trying hard to please NB with the review. Several of your last videos feel this way, especially with the ones that send you new pairs for the channel.

I rotate through 8 sneakers currently but I always go for my 1080v13s. They are simply superior in comfort. I now prefer them over my previous #1 the Gel-Nimbus25.

Just go Balos in and definitely the “big brother” of the v13. More V5 are massive. Need to pull the trigger on the 14’s now.

Tried the other day. Feels great. 1 issue - I’m Aussie - I think we got 6 colours and 3 of those colours in wide sizes. Not the colours I’d be after. Australia misses out again I guess 🤷‍♂️

You mentioned the v14's upper mesh is more breathable than it's predecessor. But, can you comment on whether the upper is more stretchy/tighter compared to the v13s? Thanks!

V14 was super comfy. But I still prefer the roomier feeling rebel v4 when I tried them on side my side
