This is somehow more happy sounding and more depressing at the same time lmao.

The first verse sounds so upbeat and like someone trying to reach out to a good friend.

The chorus comes, and it's like "wait, what? That isn't very uplifting...."

Then the 2nd verse sounds like an abusive relationship where your partner pretends everything is sunshine and rainbows when the reality is that they make your life miserable, but nobody will believe you if you tell them.

Goes to show that good songwriting is good songwriting no matter how you choose to package the sound haha
