Hopefully one of the Young Guns fills in for Quinn and We have to Hang on to Ollafsson until the Trade Deadline to see where we are at. This has got to be one of the most anticipated Seasons in the Last 15 yrs. I love it!!! I just hope if we keep Olofsson he went home to Sweden at the end of the season and immediately joined a beer league to literally practice defense all summer lol. Kobe Bryant played during the offseason solely to work on his weaknesses.

If Buffalo can trade for a solid backup (or 1 A/B) for Levi, if Clifton and Johnson can bring to Buffalo what they did for their former teams, and if they can figure out which player is ready to make the jump and fill Quinn’s skates and stay when he comes back, I could see this playing out just like that.

I hope you are right Wayne! Too me its too early to predict the standings yet because there are some HUGE decisions / questions still effecting teams , like is Adams going to trade UPL for a veteran goalie like Gibson or Hart or go with Levi & UPL. Im hoping he trades for Gibson but i have a very strong feeling tgat Adams is going to go with UPL& Levi! Also who fills in for Quinn, does Adams sign Tatar, Suter or Tarasenko or does he let the kids fight it out for that spot? I think he goes with a kid and my money is on the new kid Zac Benson !
In Boston will Bergeron be back? Also in Toronto what will the arbitrators decision be regarding Samsonovs contract ? Im 99% certain the arbitrator will rule in favour of Samsonov but the question is will the laffs except it or walk away from it and then sign a veteran goalie like Brian Elliott , Martin Jones or Halak for a $1 to 1.5 million for the season. Is Adams waiting to see what happens with Samsonov?? Is this why he hasnt traded for a goalie yet or is he confident going with UPL & Levi ??

Im interested to see how Boston do, everyone expected failure there and they got #1 overall. Lots of teams either fading (Bruins, Leafs and Tampa) with several up and comers who could take a leap (Buffalo, Detroit and Ottawa. With Florida's cup run they can't be ignored. It's a wide open division for sure.
