Loved the 3 Stooges as a kid and at 72 now I still love watching them on retro TV. It’s the sound effects with all the slapstick that still make me howl with laughter. RIP to them all and thanks for still making me laugh.

Sad to say I was never a big Stooges fan! I pretty much watched their shorts here & there, because my Father LOVED them!
Years later after I was a bit older, I heard many stories about all of them. Moe was actually very nice, he took very good care
of his family, and suffered several injuries while filming "The Three Stooges" episodes over time! They were "Slap-Stick" pioneers
and made a lot of people laugh over the years. Like I said, I wasn't a fan but I did admire & respect The Stooges!

I am always shocked if I hear someone say they don't like the three stooges. They were the kings of comedy and there could never be another Curly!! I still watch them today when I want a good laugh!

My grandfather worked in a diner in NYC back in the 30s and he would tell me that the stooges would go in there while on break. They'd come into the diner and even though they wouldn't say one word, the whole place would erupted in laughter. They were that funny. A story I share with you as my grandfather shared it with me. That's how our departed loved ones live on, through us.

i'm 56 and grew up in the 70s watching 3S as a child and my friends and I LOVED to imitate them in our everyday kid lives. Especially Curly's crazy sounds when he's frustrated and my favorite Moe line, when he says before he slaps the curd out of Larry, Curly, Shemp, Curly Joe or Besser. I loved all of em and still do. Matter of fact, now I'm gonna smoke a fat one and watch some episodes. Thanks for your videos Steve, I enjoy them and your presentation style very much.

As a teenager in the 80's I worked at a hardware store and there was an article Larry ran into a business on fire to help save ppl next to the hardware store in Philadelphia

I don't remember the exact episode but there was one episode when Larry was in a kitchen and he opened one of the kitchen cabinets To some pots and pans falling on him and he got so mad he yelled out who is the nubskull that did that. He then realized who did it and chuckled to himself "oopd, I did". I just thought that was the funniest thing as a kid.And carried that with me my whole life. I learned in that one single moment that self observation through situational awareness can be funny and is okay!
