Hi Friends, I hope you enjoy the video. This is a classic granny that deserves a spot in every crocheters arsenal. Easy and fun, a perfect stitch for beginners and advanced crocheters. I've also included a solid granny square tut in case you want to mix and match in your next project. xx

Thank you! My husband just asked me to make a blanket for his grandmother. Some of his fondest childhood memories was to visit her and his grandfather. There was a special kitchen drawer that held a bowl of M&Ms that everyone loved. It got to where the family would buy them M&M themed items for Christmas. His grandfather passed away a number of years ago, and my hubby asked me to make this blanket to wrap her in loving memories of those times with an M&M theme. I knew how to make a circle in a square in both traditional and Tunisian crochet styles, but this video cinched my decision on which way to design it. I love the additional helpful tips that you add to your tutorials that give such a beautiful result, especially for the joins which are difficult for new (or haven't done it in awhile) crocheters. Thanks for all that you do!

I am totally flabbergasted!! This is the absolute best tutorial I have seen - TOTAL COMPLETION of everything I needed to know - and I have made granny squares but was never quite happy with them, your explanation of that little hidden stitch made all the difference. The explanation that the stitches look like P's was mind blowing, NO ONE has ever mentioned that and it makes a big difference!! Thank you. I am making a twin size blanket for my boss' grandson and going to make it with this pattern. THANK

Excellent! I’ve never been a big granny square fan, and anybody telling me they were easy would get the side-eye. But this is doable! Your instructions are lovely and clear and the little tips and tricks are invaluable. Thanks for another great tutorial! 😊

You're a great teacher, thank you ! This is the first granny square I've been able to make. I really like the idea of pairing it with a solid one, too.

Love this tutorial! I agree with previous comments about how good you are at showing us stitches we would probably miss and the reason for doing things a certain way. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! ❤

Just starting my third Afghan by this pattern. Its for my stepson who is 6'8" tall. That means I am going to have to make 130 squares, Ohhh my what have I done to myself? But this is the design he wanted. Wish me luck. 😉

Thank you. I followed your instruction easily.. Thank you for explaining why you use certain stitches as opposed to others. ( ie hd to finish off a round of doubles.)
