yall are a bunch of marks. “the greatest wrestling match ever” is NOT meant to be taken literally. It was a REPRESENTATION of pro wrestling as whole (the history, industry, and even the performance art aspect of it) rewatch the match and think of it as PRO WRESTLING summarized (the build up, the technical ability shown, showmanship, storytelling). they did a great job reminding us why we fell in love with pro wrestling in the first place.

The match was that damn good. It was like the Ruthless Aggression Era squeezed up into one match.

This match genuinely made me tear up. We might make fun of WWE for many reasons whether it be for dumb storylines, tone-deaf booking, etc. But when they get it right, they get it right. And when it comes to this match, they got it perfect.

Silly tagline aside, I *really* did enjoy this match for what it was. The callbacks, the chemistry, the storytelling. Very good match from both men. I was entertained.

I hope they show the part where Edge injured his shoulder because he had already cooled off and the guys had to re-shoot a spot.

I wouldn't call it the "greatest wrestling match ever" but it still was a amazing match

the greatest match ever was easily shawn michaels and undertaker at wrestlemania the first go around no doubt

The problem is, WWE should not have promoted it the way they did. Saying it would be the greatest wrestling match ever.... even most wrestlers will have a hard time answering what the greatest match ever was. It opened up "hate heat" for the match before it ever took place. People were going to rag on it, no matter how good it was. It was a FANTASTIC match with two legends....one who thought his career had ended nine years ago. The fact that Edge is back in the ring is amazing enough. It was a great match, and is in my top five of all time.
