This just makes me wish Lariyan would just let her be a full-fledged recruitable companion.
The community’s been asking for it and now it’s just “can use as a temporary companion…” for one day, only to be killed.
Why not just make her a full companion instead of doing a weird in-between?
To be clear, this isn’t me hating on Lariyan (I love their games, DOS 2 as well) or even not understanding, (it takes a ton of work to make Alfira even remotely close to any of the other companions in the game) it’s just that while this patch brings something cool, it also leads something to be desired.

Just kill dark urge before long rest, it skips the cutscene where you kill her and then have her for the rest of the game
