Keep in mind that it's FEDERAL student loan debt. Not private student loan debt. Either way, there goes peoples tax money.

I’d like reimbursement for the time I spent sacrificing to achieve an academic record that got me scholarships and for the tuition and fees I paid by working 40+ hours a week while taking a full load of classes. I’d also like compensation for lifetime earnings losses due to choosing a less prestigious school within my means and turning down more prestigious universities to avoid debt.

My coworker already got her student loan debt paid off in full last year. She got a tech degree at a school that closed down after she graduated. Her pay is on the low end and she doesn’t use her degree most of the time. It doesn’t matter what major you get to be in debt.
