The Xurfboard is here! Not only has Xur arrived with one of the most sought after items to date, but he also has the newly attuneable class items. So in this video we talk farming Strange Coins and how to get both exotic class items and our new skimmer.

The Xurfboard looks the best out of all the skimmers we currently have and the fact that it glows honestly makes it a 10/10 in terms of looks

The Favor of the Nine buff does not cost 47 coins, it just requires you to spend 47 coins that week to obtain it.

I was farming strange coins to buy the Xurfboard. One thing to note is that if you're close to 99 and picking up the drop at then end of an activity and the drop gives you more than what you need to get to 99, then it won't allow you to pick it up. I was grinding strikes and had 96 strange coins, and I did two more strikes and each time it wouldn't allow me to pick up the strange coins at the end (since it would have been 4 strange coins). It would even just pick up the 3 that I needed to hit the max. I had to play a game of Gambit in order to get the 3 additional strange coins that I needed so I could purchase the Xurfboard. I checked after and the strange coins didn't go to the post master either. I did two strikes because I didn't have an additional spot in my inventory, but you can't have more that one entry for strange coins in your inventory. I wasn't aware that Xur would be selling it for more than one week. If I had known that I wouldn't have been grinding for it so long yesterday.

If you hate your life, fastest farm for strange coins is still "The Devils Lair" in the cosmodrome. Around 5mins if you're efficient and award the 7 coins as said in the video

advice I don’t know for whom - If you farm coins: take a contract from Ada for transmogrification. Then look in the pathfinder what you need to do in strikes. Each path gives resources as well as 150 bright dust, which is not much but still nice. this way you can get a lot more useful things in the process

I will never understand why bungie got rid of strange coins from Dares of Eternity.

Attunement might be the best thing they’ve added. 3 drops and I immediately got a syntho/caliban drop for my Hunter, and it only took 1 drop to get a hoil/syntho drop on my Titan.

I’ve had hundreds of drops prior to attunement being released, and none were even half decent. Marks were always spirit of bear, and cloaks were always an equally useless trait.

It's a good thing I spent the last week or so absolutely gunning it in NF while trying to get better at using Combination Blow (I'm new to Hunter, trying to get a handle on things). So I had 99 Coins ready for the board on the get go, bought it straight up. Gotta farm more though, for the other stuff he is selling currently.

As a side note, you can also get strange coins by loading up a specific strike from its destination. I’ve been farming The Disgraced in about 6-7 minutes per run. 6 coins per completion. So just load up the fastest strike and zone out!

Onslaught is the best way currently, with tier 2 strange favor I'm getting 33 strange coins a run

Had no clue it was dropping and just before reset I maxed my coins. Thought "oh yeah Xur is here" and went and looked, saw the board and insta bought it, it's so awesome

Strange, stranger, strangest favours.

Also the ciphers you can get from smashing coins into Xur like a dusty slot machine with tentacles is pretty hot for making exotic armours into artifice pieces. (For the players that still need to artifice all their exotic armours)

They need to add space for more strange coins... We can farm them easily and i want to buy class items as much as i can when it comes

The favour of the nine buff does need to be purchased, you need to spend 47 strange coins, on anything else, then the buff is available to pick, if you keep up your buff you can max your buff, Vanguard playlist strikes you can earn a max of 7 for a normal, 6 for a gambit win and 2 for a loss and the same for crucible

i was farming yesterday in Devil's Lair for Coins, 5-6 mins tops if you're quick enough

I swear the attunement is bugged, my first drop had my attuned perk, and the next 15 didn't, and it didn't drop another until I changed attunements back and forth. It was even just me, I've seen some other people have the same issue.
