With ferrari having the best power unit I'm hoping to see a haas on the podium

I like all the widening of the track. Over the years the car keeps getting bigger, while the track would stay the same, clearly becoming a problem.

What if the drivers could only use drs in 1 of the 2 zones after each detection point...

I like the corner upgrade but the drs is a bit overkill

2 problems with 4 DRS zones:

1. Drivers won't have a chance to break out of a car's DRS zone, because 2 corners after passing someone with DRS, there's another zone for them to catch up with. Even a car with a significant pace advantage will struggle to get more than 1s ahead of the car behind.

2. With only 2 detection points and half of the lap driven with DRS, who gets DRS will be even more important, and we could see more shinannigans at the detection points.

Track changes seem great. 4 DRS zones seems a bit much. I could see 2 at the most. Track looks to be plenty fast as it is.

tbh, the line for T9 and T10 is the one we all did back in F1 97 on the PS1

As someone who just started watching full time in the middle of the 2020 season, I'm excited to see a race in Australia and it will be really interesting for those of us who live in the west coast of the US as the race will start at 10pm on Saturday night.

I’m so excited for Australia I never watched it before

All these improved overtaking spots, plus FOUR DRS zones, and cars that can follow extremely closely through high speed corners…
I’m predicting one of the best races of the whole season!

I was at the track yesterday and can confirm all categories have had the pit limit increased to 80... They reckon it will take only 12.6 seconds to drive through it

Recently went to a swimming carnival that was right next to the track! The bus that we arrived on actually parked on the track itself. It looked so cool and I can’t wait for the race!

I am sad that Michael Schumacher’s race lap record from 04 is now gone. 🥺
My favourite Driver, Car and Track. I always looked at the lap record whenever I played the F1 game and just smiled at that 1.24.125. Bwoah.

A DRS zone + Albert Park's turn 11 sounds like a new 130R to me, anyone else?

What they've essentially done is remove/reduce most of the braking zones. Tough to overtake when there's very little braking. Which also explains why they've decided to go for 4 DRS-zones at the last minute.

I guess Ocon and Alonso will get more TV coverage this weekend with all the side by side action and overtaking possibilities!

Took a look at the track today at P1 and P2. It’s going to be a different race this Sunday with 4 DRS zones, new surface, wider corners and less dirty air. Can’t wait!
