Actor Michael Imperioli, who plays Christopher Moltisanti, nearly lost his Emmy award? The Sopranos is considered to be one of the greatest shows of all-time, and unsurprisingly it has received plenty of acclaim from award ceremonies during its time on air. When The Sopranos finally won Best show at the Emmy Awards in 2004, the actor celebrated with his fellow cast members late into the night and whilst intoxicated his wife dared him to throw his award in the bin. Imperioli revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that he had to be reminded the next morning to retrieve his Emmy from the garbage.
