I have a question regarding the "continue" statement. You explained why it is important to use it after we have added the "if num == 0:" line. As far as I understand, when the computer reaches the "continue" statement, it ignores the rest of the code block and starts the loop again. But do we really leave it also when we add the "num += 1" line? I tried the code both ways - with and without "continue" and it outputs the same result. So, when I omit the "continue" statement, does the computer still use processing power to read the rest of the code block but simply doesn't output any result?
I am asking this because I thought - what if the rest of the code block was huge and processing it requires significant power? In that case the "continue" statement would be necessary! But I am not sure whether the computer actually digests the remaining code block!
I am just a young padawan yet, so forgive me my ignorance!
