This is so real, when i came out in middle school my aunts on my moms side of the family were like "we knew" I was riddled with anxiety when I told all my family members even though I found out a lot knew haha

Ive never told my parents about my sexuality....i saw my siblings go through too much to feel safe to do this.

Me, living my entire life is gender non conforming and disliking the label woman or female and my mom got mad when I told her I was genderfluid lol. She's trying her best tho so that's that.

As a gay guy myself I have to say this is so true.

this is realer than i thought it was, my parents are pretty right leaning and catholic, and when i told them i was bi they were like “ok, cool. we knew” and my dad made some dumb joke about it, and never been brought up since, just instead of saying my future boyfriend, they say partner.

My kid was UPSET that no one in my family threw a fit when she came out as Pan. 😂 Like girl, same. We love love here.
For a year and a half she thought she was trans so we used preferred name and pronouns he/him/they. Eventually she identified as a girl again but wanted to keep her chosen name, so thats what we do now.
I think the love and support was overwhelming in an unexpected way and she did not handle it well.

my mom has like a sixth sense for this stuff so she knew before I knew and when I told her she then told me that she's bisexual the only person who has slipped by her radar for this stuff though is my aunt her own sister lol

What do you do if you are bi but your mom doesn't support you?

I've been gay. My whole life never told my family. Never told anyone no one's asked. Just the way I live my life, the way I take care of myself. The way my home looks. You can say I'm gay but not 1 person says anything even though they know. Because I don't let them to be comfortable. To even have a conversation I show you respect you, show me. I am 65 years old and I'm glad I never had to say anything. And no one said nothing to me including my family. It's not their business just like their business is not mine? I don't care what other people do I just care about me and I'm not going to explain why I am gay or if I was straight. No one explains why they're straight. It's none of our business if you want to make your life. Everyone's business God blesshoot. I am been fined for 65 years and got the utmost respect out of everyone because I don't want it. I don't. Talk about it, it's no one's business but mine. So I hope you get a little something from The closet door is see through. It's no one's business. What they're looking at or what they feel about it just like I don't care about anyone. Else's orientation? I don't care what they are. Who they are respect everyone and just live life. I am 65 like I said. And I've never had to say a word and no one's ever said anything to me..
