First of all wow! That plant is so lovely! Secondly: Is there a reason you don’t remove the dried out strips off of the stems after they dry out? Don’t they help keep the plant more manicured and less likely to get pests?

I’m surprised by how many people worried about that. Plants are just like that they don’t have a big area to form in like old leaves do, that is a new leaf growing from its own new spot so yeah it’ll be smaller and it’s taking a lot of energy to create a new growth spot

Mine just put out the tiniest baby leaf where I propped in the fall! I was so surprised after blistering that it took so long! 😅

So it was like a pancake, the first one comes out a little wonky but the rest are perfect 😂

My monstera isnt growing any new leaves ! Please help !!!! And all other leaves are green and look happy. Humidity is 60% and its in an east facing window where it can see the sky but the sun doesnt directly hit the plant.

I have a question please . My monstera has 2 new large leafs but they look so wilted but the plant is healthy and no need of watering

My begonia had the same kind of messed up early bud thing happen and the leaf that came from it was so tiny and weird😂 like basically the same things happened and it looked the same, so strange! Glad she bounced back!

When you chop a plant what happens is it loses energy it would’ve had in that growth and it gets stressed so it quickly puts out smaller leaves to get back what it lost
