Interesting choices. I don't agree with all of them, but definitely interesting. Totally understand and respect your rankings.

I don't have a rank for all of them but my top 5 are:

1. Bounty Hunter - it's silly but I love boarding one of the CF Ghosts during the tutorial. For role-playing purposes it separates me from Constellation.

2. File Not Found - as you say, solid set of skills.

3. Soldier - again, a solid foundation to build upon.

4. Professor - by level 3 & 4 you can unlock suit & weapon upgrades to begin expanding out those skills. Excellent for crafters. For the 2nd level skill, I'd just pop it into Surveying.

I think a lot of online advice regarding the scanner doesn't take into account that higher levels of scanning can help you snipe. Just pull up the scanner and see your targets with the blue overlay. In dark places, this helps you visualize where to put the crosshair.

5. Space Scoundrel - nice foundation skills that really fit the archetype.

My biggest disappointment is Industrialist. Security but no Commerce? WT actual F? Diplomat, often having to dabble in espionage should have had security.
