Nothing can beat the Chuck Jones Grinch smile at 1:29 although I'm sure that mad lad Jim Carrey offered to break his jaw in order to match it even further.

You guys can argue about which one is better, and which one is worst. I’m gonna keep watching the original that maybe, perhaps, means a little bit more.

1966: Freaky, and Twisted... no seriously he literally just stares into my soul 😳😨

2000: Goofy, quite a comedian... well it is Jim Carrey after all and he is a funny actor 😂🤣

Both versions are absolute classics imo. 1966 is a faithful and simple adaptation, and the 2000 version is comedic and more stuff and more morals coming from it. But we can all agree it’s better than the 2018 version

Grinch in the original animation adaptation reminds me of Tom from the 1963-1966 Tom and Jerry shorts.

Don't you mean How The Grinch Stole Christmas! 1966/2000/2018?

You really shouldn’t call this an evolution because evolve means transform, and these different versions of the Grinch are not sequels at all where his original hand drawn version transforms into a live action or CGI version of himself. It’s the same story as the very first Grinch movie, just an altered version with different actors, and is therefore a remake. Only sequels are continuations. These are not continuations at all. Even more importantly, when different versions are be made by different companies because they’re supposed to make their own versions of something specific and an original version of something, whether it has sequels or not, should be a stand alone film series within that version that is separate from other versions, and separate from other companies, as well as the fact that movies owned by the same company with different titles should be their own separate film series too. Please, stop using the word evolution, it’s really upsetting me. 😔
