What Trump's tax plan could mean for workers and businesses

President Trump is moving on to tax reform after the latest health care repeal effort failed. He's calling for the corporate tax rate to be cut to 20% and for the number of individual tax brackets to be reduced from seven to three, among other items. His numbers are worse than talking to the President of the Virgin Islands. He says if the GDP increased its growth in 1 percent there would be a 2.3 trillion increase in revenue. By God there would not be an increase of 2.3 trillion in the GDP itself!! Thank God I'm an Economist... the GDP is 18.5 trillion. 2.3 trillion in the GDP would require a 12.43% growth in GDP but if government spending is only about a third of the GDP you would require 3 times that growth in the GDP to create a 2.3 trillion revenue, that is, a growth of 37.5 in the GDP. So maybe the numbers refer to what would happen in the course of the Century. I hope the press gets this!!! Together with Nambia and the Virgin Islands, this is more like the three stooges.

When Trumps signs his bill it will be a big deal Like he is doing something good for the people. He will thank the Media over and over for helping him trying to look good.

Politicians only waste money and raise taxes! I'll take a tax cut save my own money! Taxes are to high and just gets wasted anyway! Taxes for citizens should go to 15%, 18% and 25% (tax brackets). It could be done if Gov. stop wasting money and sending $ over seas!
