On Friday's edition to Zolak & Bertrand, the guys reacted to the Patriots 24-3 defeat at the hands of the NY Jets. This led to Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand stating that it's time to get rookie QB Drake Maye ready to start.

The Seahawks game was alarming. That defense got cooked.

Anyone with eyes can tell you the QB is not the problem in this offense. I don’t get why they won’t sign a veteran who has actually played the LT position before. It literally can’t get worse! The way Wolf handles the OT position is terrifying.

These guys seriously think the o line will learn to block because Drake is back there

They definitely should not put drake in. FIX THE OFFENSIVE LINE

That was the worst Patriots game I have ever seen Ever in 30 years you would have to be nuts to put Drake Maye out there at this time PERIOD!!!

Maye has to start this season, sooner rather than later. He won't learn by sitting down. The team is young, and they have to learn to play together.

Insufferable. Maye shouldn’t play behind this team. There’s no rush for him. This team never had a chance this year. Maye needs to sit, learn, and be protected. You clearly want Maye to fail to continue the QB carousel for clickbait. You can’t send Maye out there and taking the beatings Brissett is taking, which is the job he signed up for and knew what was ahead going in

Why are we even having this conversation? Jacoby is not the problem at all. Receivers don’t have time to get open let alone get downfield

Joe Burrow played his rookie year and he had a terrible line, absolutely terrible line. Zolak is right, he gets in the San Fran game at some point and starts thereafter. He did not do too badly last night. It is time!

RIP Drake Maye I'd fake an injury if I was him and shut it down for the season till these amateurs get an O line and maybe some good coaches

Man i remember three weeks ago about how he should sit and learn from these people

These takes are worse than the offensive line. Why the hell would anyone start Drake maye after seeing Jacoby get killed in 3 straight games?
Changing QB doesn’t fix the offensive line.. Have these guys been exposed to lead? They should be bitching about Eliot Wolf crapping the bed in the offseason, and now the patriots have to lay in it for 17 games.

This team has a lot in common with UNC and their crappy O line! Drake can escape pressure, Jacoby can’t! 😮 Just the facts…

I always tend to root against Sports radio narratives and takes on what teams should do. Their takes are always based on what makes for the most entertaining content not what's best for the team. They could care less if the entertainment comes from a dynasty or an epic self implosion, both are entertaining. What's not entertaining is winning 4-7 games for 3 years while you rebuild.

I’d like to introduce you to 98.5’s new Sports Reporter. His name is “Phil Time”. He will be accompanied by “Blab Furhourze”.

The team looked cooked from the opening kickoff... Idk how i feel about starting Drake, we"re not going anywhere this year, do we really want to subject him to the beating he is going to be in for😅
