On Friday's edition to Zolak & Bertrand, the guys reacted to the Patriots 24-3 defeat at the hands of the NY Jets. This led to Scott Zolak and Marc Bertrand stating that it's time to get rookie QB Drake Maye ready to start.

Joe Burrow played his rookie year and he had a terrible line, absolutely terrible line. Zolak is right, he gets in the San Fran game at some point and starts thereafter. He did not do too badly last night. It is time!

I always tend to root against Sports radio narratives and takes on what teams should do. Their takes are always based on what makes for the most entertaining content not what's best for the team. They could care less if the entertainment comes from a dynasty or an epic self implosion, both are entertaining. What's not entertaining is winning 4-7 games for 3 years while you rebuild.
