People are still misunderstanding the Ability Patch thing. If you use an Ability Patch on a Pokemon in Sword and Shield and then transfer them to Scarlet and Violet, they will still have the hidden ability. Ability Patches in BDSP, however, seem to not be permanent. But otherwise, you don't need to worry about the Ability Patch thing as long as you're not working with BDSP.

Just a tip for the future, if you want to record the “multiple accounts are being used” message, you can go onto Pokémon home in your phone and then open home back up on your switch

I've had the game crash so many times prior to this update I'm not surprised. I did notice that I'm getting stuck in the PokePortal where it won't load. My brother is experiencing the same.

I think of Pokémon home also added the ability to use the touch screen. Organizing Pokémon would be so much more easy. Like back in the 3DS.

Thats weird, I tested my Shiny Giratina's Shadow Force animation in SV after finding out that it crashed my game in PLA. I was literally saluting while I expected the game to crash, but it played the animation and there wasn't one. (Yes I tested Origin and Regular)

My only problem is that it sucks that they don’t add old gimmicks to new games so it seems almost like a waste to send stuff to scarlet when they can stay in sword and dynamax and gmax lol also annoyed that hisuain Pokémon aren’t registered into the dex like alolan and regular were in sword and shield like it shows regular zigzagoon in the dex or alolan raichu for example

The best thing is that you can transfer Pokémon compatible to Sword and Shield so you don't have to deal with the picnic breeding, which imo is just far more cumbersome.
