Hey Turkey what happened to the monks? How come there's absolutely zero christians in the area? Why is there vandalism and islamic graffiti on the frescoes?

Many monasteries build at 4th centuries at secluded places to avoid Trinity's doctrines

Beautiful. Hopefully the Christians of Turkey start worshiping the God of Jesus rather than Jesus himself.

This is how Islam ruled over the territories. Every religion and faith was safe and respected.

Did they film parts of The Immortals there?

If it comes from the 4th century, it was founded as a Catholic monastery. Greek Orthodoxy didn't begin until 1054.

I'll make correction, it was built by Georgians not by Greeks. Georgia owned until turkay took it from Georgia
