You are the picture of patience. You didn't throw anything. Leaks are just a life altering aggravation. Great job, great video.

If you need to re-thread anything that carries fluid, consider timeserts with a small about of sealant instead of helicoil as fluids can easily move between the inner and outer threads making it more likely to leak, especially for a fixing that has to be removed and replaced regularly.

I once had to drill an engine block to pick up a water gallery in and out for a water to oil cooler. It made a terrible mess with helicoils.

Chinese loctite, we use Wynns sealant and never had issue, oil, water, hot, cold the lot, good luck for the future Dean

27:30 With a manual transmission it's not going to blow up if you'r losing some fluid from it and driving it even a long way. Even if you have lost ALL of the fluid from it and still need to get to a shop or home you can drive it sensibly for many miles to get there and not have a big worry. It's not like an Automatic where the fluid is a must for the clutches and torque converter etc.

I feel for you, a never ending leak, but patience is a virtue and you’ve surpassed yourself. If, on the other hand, you’ve lost it and you wouldn’t have sorted it and it would have gone way too wrong. Kudos to you and great work.

Neat job Dean. I'm not a fan of heli coils - I had too many come out on the end of the plug! My favourite is Timesert by Wurth. Looks like a lovely car and one someone will get a great deal of pleasure driving. Not me though - my back won't get me out of it!😄😂

Absolutely hate black “invisible” wheels!! Unbelievable condition for a 17 year old car though 😁

Mate you took the leaks so well even on camera 😂 I would have been cursing big time! Now I’m hoping the next big project is the long overdue TVR? Please say yes 😃
