It is 2023, I learned Micheal Gambon passed away today. It was a real sad scene and I have cried watching it. And another sad fact is this video was published 10 years ago. Rest in Peace Micheal Gambon. We will all miss you.

Update 2023: This scene hits me so hard because I'm really incredibly saddened to hear of the death of Sir Michael Gambon, he brought immeasurable joy to Harry Potter fans from all over the world with his humour, kindness and grace. after McGonagall raised her wand i found it very hard to see, because my eyes just filled with tears. this scene has no words and yet is so powerful, especially the moment with Ginny and Harry, one of the only moments that the movie allowed them to have that wasn't awkward. to see everyone so upset because their leader, their headmaster, has died is just heartbreaking. and i love the "raise your wands" aspect, it gives this scene even more meaning.

I felt so bad for harry here. He lost all the parental figures he had in his life who he cared and who cared for him . First Sirius then Dumbledore . And he never even knew his parents. The way he literally broke down here brings tears to my eyes and on top of that Ginny comforting him😭 also Mcgonnagal and them raising wands 😭😭
