You have to press the m.2 down til it clicks on the tabs located in the middle of slot. That secures the drive in place so that you can carry it about.

Got one of these little Orico NVME cloners a few days back, and today got my first chance to use it, cloning a WIn10 install on family member's laptop, cloning a small 250 GB Intel 600 SSD WIn10 installation over to a 500 GB Samsung 960 EVO. Used the little cloner in stand-alone mode, took less than 8 minutes to copy the 250 GB drive. (Naturally, the drive booted fine, but, only showed as a 250 GB drive in disk management, and, of course the recovery partition was listed before the spare/unallocated space for the remaining 250 GB of the new 960 EVO. A quick bootup of Rescuezilla, and specifically the included Gparted application, allowed moving the recovery partition to the end with '0' bytes afterward, and then resizing the main partition to to encompass the remaining space, done by simply dragging the slider to the far right. Bingo, easy -peasy! SHutdown, reboot, done!) I did not expect the off-line/standalone clone of a 250 GB SSD to finish that quickly, I am very impressed!

Hello iftibashir.
I want to upgrade my very small 256 GB ssd from my PC to a 1T new one.
My question is: Can I safely take out my 258 one out my PC, use this duplicator to clone it to the new 1T one and then stick that in my PC and everything is sorted?
Everything that is on my PC including my Windows is on that 256 ssd.

If you press down on the nvme drives, there is a rubber bumper that locks it in place.

I just purchased this and stopped the cloning process after an hour when I realized it was so hot it practically burned my fingers. I was afraid it would fry both of my expensive ssds.

Is there a similar device available that doesn't have a 2TB limit?

Hang on, so if I clone using this tool it will create a 64GB partition (from a 64gb drive) automatically?

This won't work on a Steam Deck for example.. can I turn that 64GB into a bigger number?
