7 - Node.js API + Passport - Local Authentication Strategy - Setting up a register route

Now that we have our router setup correctly, we can begin writing out our initial routes for the API. In this lesson we create the register route for our API. We setup an initial response object that we can send back in JSON in order to test out if the register route can be hit successfully.

We introduce a new tool called Postman to create our first POST request to check if the register route is working correctly.
