Imagine making a movie about races and using their actual ancient languages. Now that will be the most interesting and historically accurate movie ever...

In Roman Latin, the modern sound for "v" didn't exist. Instead, they used the sound for "w." "Westa" instead of "vesta." That man is speaking Church Latin

4:40 What is called "old Persian" is actually Aramaic, the man in this excerpt recites the "our father" christian prayer in Aramaic.

Why do they always add an echo whenever someone speaks ancient Egyptian? It detracts from the aesthetic of the language.

The original video for the "Sumerian" sample said it was Akkadian. I was confused, but after a bit of research, I found it was actually Akkadian for real. The third line of the poem, "ishtar sumra rashupti ilatim", mentions the goddess Ishtar which is her Akkadian name. The Sumerians called her Inanna.
