Wow! this exercise Mi Ya Mui, I cannot say thank you enough for this. I have always only been able to get my belt to Bflat ... and then I will begin tensing up my neck and start shouting. There is something about this consonant/vowel Mi that managed to get my voice to a different placement in the mouth, and magically I managed to vocalize up to an Eflat without changing to my head voice. I am still in shock.

Thank you very much! your advices indeed helpt me. I wasn't getting the last high belted note from Les miserables' "Valjean's soliloquy". But after I watched the video I had this image of air progression in my voice and I got to where I wanted. Keep it up! Great channel.

Very good practical tips. How much air could you breathe in to hold the note. How do you take in more air for the next word of the song, which is also a long note.

Hi I'm trying to cover a song "I can't be mad " by Nathan Skyes and he belts in the entire chorus
however there is a part at the end of the chorus where he flips in falsetto and it's back and forth like mix and falsetto . How do you get that ?

Freya, hello how are you doing and feeling? I, m a second mezzo soprano very high voice. I, m in a worship team 3 of them now. And 2 choirs.
For Christmas eve night cantata I have to do a solo.
I, m nervous .
I went to Berkeley and new England conservatory of music in Boston 5years each.
Could you possibly give me some tips.
For not being nervous for Christmas eve night cantata and holding the long high notes.
I have copd. And chronic bronchitis and asthma chronic and diabetic no.2
From last year weighing over 425 pounds to now loosing over 200pounds. I, m doing great now.
I, m 61 yrs.old.
I have been in choirs for over 28years now
