An important thing you should know when doing that to a weapon the perks on the weapon the gold purple and blue ones... They all get reduced base level perks... So if you level up a weapon that has all gold perks on it it will reduce all those to the base level meaning you will need to go back into the workstation for weapon readjustment

So does the weapon you "merge" into the Thunder Cage matter for more DMG and can you do it more than once?

Like ive got a rifle that does 20K DPS but on the Thunder it comes up to about 7k(ish) if i merge it with it. So can i do it again to boost more or should I wait til i can merge a higher DPS.

I already know about the needing 4 TCages.
