So as a freelance worker, I have no income again. Just because some people wanted to go to a KTV. Thanks.

Please heavily fine the ktv errant bosses in terms of billions of dollars until they self declare bankrupt, these fines can be used to compensate those other businesses that r indirectly affected by these ktv culprits....

And the 3 considerations given in allowing KTV lounges to pivot to F&B outlets were ❓❓❓

First they overlooked the dormitories. Now the KTV hostesses who were on short term visa but one also moonlighted at fishery. And we all go into semi lockdown again. Inept and incompetent.

Adequate considerations/planning should apply for upcoming ICTs please. With such wide spread community transmission, i dont think its wise to proceed to congregate singaporean males from across the island in communal living environments within the army camps.

Unbelievable, now back to square one by force, now people like myself who just want to have a peace of mind to eat when outside have to suffer again by thursday and have to go back to takeaway geez...

And NDP to continue is a high risk factor too as promoting huge cluster of infection to happen is it?! & seriously a huge waste of tax payer money as the money can be put to good use in giving handouts to the people during this period would be better and seriously who want to have the mood to celebrate with huge clusters from KTV and Jurong Fishing port ongoing now plus the new phase 2 heightening alert coming soon now... Can we see that the ones in charge are getting messed up in their plans in maintaining order there like for example ceasing any info on locations that infected people visited and what day and time(we all know this is ceased by MOH which is them btw) putting people at risk of getting infected which is the one of the cause of this outcome and instead flip flop anytime that they wish and enforce harsh enforcement by force there, obey or else be punished...

I blame those KTV clusters of course and the ones in charge as well, it is not fair to the rest of us who are innocent and got nothing to do with what is causing the cluster there at all... You and me we are all angry seriously who is not...

Interested to learn more about the implications for the KTV operators that put the whole country back into this situation. For now it seems they flouted the law but apart from a few F&B licenses lost - the punishment is directed at the powerless foreign workers who have little leverage over their managers to take the needed precautions.

Talk is cheap. The problem now is not enough of bed or whatever. Obviously the case is rising. Important is stop bringing in more cases. In which it's in the dishonorable son agenda to bring in more FT from India. It's already spreading like wild fire. For Christ sake.

I admit to being angry at this, but.... I am forced to agree with Mr Ong.. The reasons for this reversion are sound and I have to support the common sense demonstrated at this. I just hope that our Administration would reconsider their policies regarding people coming into Singapore, at least until we have the critical mass of vaccinations. We really don't need to let in yet another KTV hostess into our midst and screw the whole damn thing up.

Since seniors above 70 generally have chronic health problems, it is also why they are hesitant to get the mMRA vaccines as they worry that their aged systems may not withstand the side effects of the vaccines as compared to the healthier younger people .
Since Novavax uses the more traditional method of vaccine production and may be available by the end of the year and is shown to be >90% effective in clinical trials, the alternative is to allow the 140, 000 seniors to wait for Novavax.
Seniors generally do not leave their homes as much as younger people . So, maybe should concentrate on getting the more active ones who are out and about to be vaccinated to reach the overall herd immunity level?

Let’s see what’s the conclusion for this infectious disease 🦠 since 2020 March and how far is it gonna continue to dragged on.

It's difficult to predict and prevent every single potential viral cluster, especially when people knowingly flout the rules and guidelines that the govt gives everyone. The quick decision to return to Phase 2 is excellent. Thanks to all in the ministry.

Went to the GP today just to get a simple sub test at Camry Medical Centre in Toa Payoh because it’s near me and I had a call from the contact tracing team to go for a swab test because I have been to JFP. I am just so disappointed that the GP and the staff could not give me good enough instructions to get a swab test done. I understand that these GPS have been allocated areas of interest that they are subsidised and paid to help the gov in this effort. But what I am very disappointed with is that the doctor through his staff, can’t even give a simple word of advise where I can quickly do a test under the auspice of the government. The clinic simply turn me down and informed me that if I want to do a private swab test, I have to pay SG200, no solutions offered other than that. I was really turned off that in such a situation which every business should pool in to help get this monster under control, we have our private medical practitioners drawing lines and counting cost. So how?
