How To Fix Xiaomi Mi Mop Essential Water Issue

An orange light is flashing instead of white light and the water is not coming through?
We almost never use the mop feature but I wanted to show it to a friend that was
Interested in buying such a device for himself and it suddenly started to give me problems.
After searching for a while I came across this post suggesting taking it apart
Clean it and it might solve the problem and that is what this video is about.

thaks, your video actually stopped me to disassemble whole robot. I have tried to pour citric acid with water to the hole under tank first and it worked.

Thank you very much for the video!!! I disassembled the robot like you did and clean the water pipes with sirynge ( i dont have small compressor) and actually it worked! I cleaned all the pipes from the start to bottom like you in the video. Thanks for the video and help!!!

Looking at your video I was encouraged to open the robot and that went well. I noticed a small cylinder in the tubes towards the 3 water drippers just after the small pump mounted on the right (seen from the bottom. This is a one-way valve and in my case it was most likely stuck because of dried up water residue (calcium). After gently poking the inner rubber membrane loose with a thin metal rod (toothpick might do too, just don't puncture it) the water, pushed by a syringe was able to squirt through the drippers! ALL GOOD NOW!

Thanks. I did it with a syringe with air and then eith water and it worked like a charm. Something was stucked, probably lime, in the tubes.

Try this first as it's quick and easy, and solved my problem for a while - in my case there was limescale buildup on 3 outlets that you see when you remove the mop holder. I just cleaned them by sticking interdental brush in them for a couple of times and water started flowing again.

thanks, few months after shooting this video it hapoened to me to, this time I did not disassembled it because I was sure it is something with the tubes again, I just flipped it over and again with high pressure of air to this bottom holes I cleared the clog drain holes much fasyer then disassemble😊

Thank you! i wouldn't have managed to pick it appart without your instruction. The front shield was a mess to align. I manage to get the pump working by pressuring some water through the main water intake with a pipe and a syringe, so it wasn't necessary for me to disassemble it completely in the end, heh. This seems to be a common issue with robot cleaner

İ cleaned, (pushed and pulled printer nozzle with cleaning gasket and syringe.) Solved in 15 seconds. try it's easier and not risky

Thanks for the video! Mine didn't work because the nozzles on the bottom side got clogged due to hard water. This could be fixed without disassembly. I had to just puncture them with the needle.

Thanks, I just did the same thing but nothing, then I realized that the water pump makes it sound like it's working, but it's not actually pumping water. I opened this pump and found the internal membranes broken, so I will order a new one.

Need to give this a shot, took the entire thing apart once already but ultimately just put it back together after fiddling with the pump, didn't think about using compressed air

I had a problem with the one way valve. I unclogged it by pushing water with a syringe and I left it underwater overnight. The next day it was working correctly.

The one way valve is activated by pressure, you need something to push the water through.

I blow some air in the hole on the downside of the robot vacuum with should be the intake air hole. And the orange light is not blinking anymore and looks it sprays water again. Think there was some dust inside.
