Just watched your 4 part series on how to set up a salt water tank and then watched this. Your the only person I've seen that made this look easy. I was about to give up on trying to do a salt water tank before I even tried but you made this seem just as easy as a freshwater tank. I'm now going to attempt a 30 gallon saltwater tank with clown fish (if I can find the right substrate and rocks, nowhere around me can even get freshwater sand let alone live sand and rocks.) Thank you for the great videos on this topic. You have earned a subscriber.

I've been looking non stop at how-to videos for saltwater aquariums for the past 2 weeks and this was the BEST. Talks about it real quick and then shows how-to by showing step by step with a lot of useful but yet simple information. I SUBSCRIBED right away and feel more comfortable building my own saltwater aquarium. Thanks

That was a very easy to understand, real informative video!!! I've watched so many on here that have the presenter go on about useless technical stuff that makes it feel so confusing until I watched yours. Thank you for the video!!!!

I usually don't comment on things, but when you talked about the holding the tubing to control the water flow when cleaning substrate is something I probably wouldn't have thought of and will help me a lot! Thank you!

Man this is really helpful. Saltwater fish tanks seem to most people to be for experts only and is very complex, but really an easy tank like yours is really freshwater with an extra water parameter.

I had a bad experience using tap water even with the conditioner. Tap water has silicates that will cause diatom blooms.

Hey Thomas, I have a new 75 gallon setup. My ammonia is only 2ppm, nitrites 0ppm. I have live rock and live sand. Should I add a capful of ammonia, or wait, or what? I really appreciate your videos!

Will a sand sifting goby keep your sand clean enough or will I still want to clean the sand as part of my maintenance? Wonderful videos btw.
