Having blood tests run for hormones at the wrong time of you cycle can give you results that may make you jump to the wrong conclusions. So here is on which days you should have fertility blood tests run for which hormones.

This happened to me, was told couldn’t confirm ovulation. That’s because they took the bloods day 21, but I ovulated day 19 on clomid. I went away thinking I hadn’t ovulated, but a week later I got my positive!
Charting has been great, I’m about to start letrozole 🎉 for number 3 🤞🏽

So last month I didn't ovulate. No positive OPK and no rise in temp. Then had a breakthrough bleed. Had my levels tested on the 3rd day of the breakthrough. Would that still be considered CD3 Since it wasn't a true period?

Can you have a chemical pregnancy before you get a positive test? I suspect to have PCOS. I have changed my diet and went from 49 days to 38 days to 28 day cycle but not sure if my 28 day cycle was a chemical pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test 9dpo and was negative but got my period 3 days later.

All my life I've had a spot on constant period every month at the exact same time, at the age of 17 i finished high school and gotten pregnant almost immediately. When giving birth to my son my placenta had erupted and had to be given a manual scoop to extract the placenta ... Hello!...period is normally 26-28 days. OPK test usually shows LH spikes on day 10 of that monthly cycle. How do I know if I actually ovulated with 100% accuracy if there is no way to test my progesterone at home? Would live to hear your feedback.
