The biggest reason i like gun stores is i can put the rifle in my hands and make sure it's not like the AR7 i wanted forever and realized I didn't like it after holding it

I like to support my local gun stores, but honestly when I can find the same exact gun for $200 less on the PSA website I can’t really justify spending the money in the store. But I still try to buy my optics and ammo from my local guys.

Bought my last 20 or so online, Easier than dealing with the gun-shop clerks. Everyone one I ever encountered acted like they were gods gift to the 2A community and annoyed that they had to help. I’m sure there are some cool clerks out there unfortunately I never encountered them.

I went a gun store and he asked if I wanted the authentic experience. I said yes. He went into the back got a tinfoil hat and proceeds to go of on a conspiracy theory rant. Best gun buying experience I have had.

My local store offers discounts all the time just for paying cash, and often evens out the total or will take $50-100 off used items for customers they recognize. I’ll gladly drive 40 mins both ways to continue to support them

The gun shop closest to me only sells brand new firearms. Which is fine, but most of the time, I can't fork over their prices.

Then I found another shop that sold new and used, which was EXACTLY what I want in a gun shop. I know you're gambling buying a used gun, but when it comes to WW2 and Cold War era weapons, I'm all over those things.

I've ordered things online before, which is cheaper, but a physical gun shops prices are not too bad either. It just depends on what you're looking at.

Despite the other messed up gun laws here, that totally is the buying experience here in Canada, since you’re licensed, you are pre approved and you can have it dropped off in your front porch

gun stores rip their customers off, thats why they lose business.

I would go to smaller gun stores the problem is they mark up everything so much. Why would I pay $750 for a Glock 19 when it's 500 bucks at Cabela's
