Mam in d part u teach us that due to special case it will transitive but as e part is also similar to d part but e part is not transitive nd in solution of google both are not transitive pls make sure that what is happening..

In (e) part, suppose x, y, z are grandfather, father, son. X (grandfather) is father of y (father), y(father) is father of z(son).but z (son) cannot be father of x(grandfather).so (x, y ) belongs to R. (y, z) belongs to R. (z, x) doesn't belongs to R.
