I have read almost all of Alice Feeney’s books, and Beautiful Ugly is my favorite. I just enjoyed this book, and have described it like a hot cocoa of a thriller novel. Perfect atmosphere, eerie, and never too much violence, abuse, etc. I did listen to the audiobook, and the narration was superb.

At first when we started getting the Abby chapters it was reminding me of gone girl which I think threw me off what was actually happening quite a lot

I gave this 4 stars. The beginning felt like a 5, mostly because of the atmosphere, but the end was too predictable to even call a twist. Grady reminded me of June from Yellowface, denying the bad things he does to the point of actually convincing himself that he's a good person. I'm not sure why people complained that he was unlikeable because isn't that kind of the point?

I’m catching the replay bc I finished this yesterday. This is my third Alice feeney. I LOVED rock paper scissors, I LOATHED daisy darker, and this one was meh to me. I agree that it got repetitive, and I also didn’t think the ending added up for me. *spoiler for rock paper scissors*

I felt like the twist was too similar as the twist in rock paper scissors and I didn’t like that

SPOILERS: "if you are reading this i am trapped on the island please help me" it's the message until chapter perfectly imperfect. i don't think there's another after that.

This book was a hot mess. The atmosphere was well written - as all her book have - but as always because her plot is so crazy, the plot twist at the end is always completely unbelieveble. As always i was just rolling my eyes by the end🙄.

I think the women were trying to take what he loved so much and try to make it ugly from the pressure of every book successful for him to survive.

I rated this story 4 stars because I did not like the ending. Also, the plane scene in Abby's pov was cringe.
