TreeClix | Masterclass The Netherlands 2023

Welcome to our TreeClix Masterclass held in the Netherlands in 2023! We had an amazing two days where saddle fitters from Belgium and the Netherlands gathered to witness our system in action.

After a brief theory session led by our founder, Jolanda van der Leeden, we dove straight into the heart of the action. Firstly, Kelly de Geus, renowned for her expertise in dressage-in-hand training, demonstrated the biomechanics of horse movement and emphasized the importance of horses moving correctly both on the ground and under saddle.

Next, we explored the impact of fine-tuning saddle fit and tree size on horse movement. By installing TreeClix on various saddles, we observed firsthand how it enhanced saddle fit for both horses and riders, resulting in increased comfort and improved performance. It was fascinating to witness how even a small adjustment of 5mm in tree width could make a significant difference for both horse and rider!

Of course, we didn't just observe - the best way to learn is by doing! Participants had the opportunity to open and adjust saddles themselves, engage in discussions from different perspectives, and see how our test riders and horses responded to these differences.

And because we believe that learning happens best in a relaxed and nurturing environment, we were delighted to host our masterclass in an indoor arena with impeccable catering. There's no better setting to exchange insights and ideas with fellow saddle specialists than over a delicious lunch.
