It's been a long time since I played a retro game long enough to be featured in one of my weekday main series slots as opposed to a Sunday Longplay one-off, but this is one I've wanted to play for a while now. Welcome to Rock n' Roll Racing on the SNES!

This game was made by a company called Silicon & Synapse, which you might know better today as Blizzard Entertainment. It basically plays like RC Pro-Am, but with weapons, kind of like a precursor to the Twisted Metal series. It also boasts 16-bit remixes of real rock songs, including "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Highway Star" by Deep Purple, "Born to Be Wild" by Steppenwolf, and "The Peter Gunn Theme" by the Blues Brothers. The Genesis version took it a step further by adding Golden Earring's "Radar Love" to the mix. Thus making the game live upto both halves of its name - a racing game with a rock n' roll soundtrack.

Viewer Question: If Blizzard ever decides to make a modern-day sequel to Rock N' Roll Racing, what songs would make up your dream soundtrack for the game?
