The A-OK AM35 shade motor is Radio Frequency based so you don't have to point the remote at it every time you want to control it. In fact you can control the shades in your living room from your bedroom completely wirelessly. The A-OK motor stores the limits set by the remote controls. With the momentary press of a button you can command the shade to go to the Full up or Full Down position.

Note 1: Unlike most other A-OK motors that we offer, this motor only has settable open and closed positions. This motor does not have programmable intermmediate stopping points.

Note 2: The limits of this motor are set mechanically and not with the remote. You will need to have access to the motor head to set the limits with the included tool.

* The stated torque capabilities are using the 10mm stud, heavy duty idler and brackets. The use of the recommended component list for 2" tubes below should be derated to 4Nm (35.4lb on 2" tube). This is more than enough for a 120"W x 96"H shade using average weight material (12oz/sqyd) and 120" W x 168"H using light weight material (6oz/sqyd). Neither of which are even close to the true lifting capacity of this motor. The limitations are due to deflection of the 2" tube under the associated material weights.

• 2.5" Tube Using Components Listed Below (Equal Light Gaps): 2 3/4"
• 2.5" Tube Using Components Listed Below (Max Compression on Idler): 2 1/8" (1.375" Motor Side, 0.75" Idler Side)

Tip to Tip is defined as the space that entire assembly (tubes, brackets, drives, idler etc.) needs to fit. This type of measurement is most often used for shades mounted within framed constraints.
