Love these occasional armchair experts trying to offer advice to a woman with 200 sanctioned fights, that has trained with nearly every active Muay Thai legend.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but just think what it would be like asking Julio Cesar Chavez if he ever thought about rotating his hips more or whatever. I know you probably mean well, but it doesn't reflect amazingly on your self-awareness.

This woman is a gold mine in terms of knowledge and skill. As a beginner I often feel like I am not learning a lot because the class is overpopulated and the instructor can't help each student to hone their techs so we end up practicing the wrong way until he comes to correct us a bit.

As always I'm smarter than I was yesterday after I watch you tech.

I love your technique break downs. They've been a huge help. Thanks and big ups from Phuket!

Reminds me of some things I read in an old Jack Dempsey book about using the opposition force with the shoulders rotating. I'm going to try this out tomorrow at the gym and set up a ten minute timer, which is a great bit of extra info there, or a great tip anyways. I appreciate you uploading these videos and all of the effort put into them as well as taking the time to explain and reiterate the things you've learned. Great stuff.

I figured this one a bit ago - and it’s funny but when it really came together was the same - when I started focusing on the rear shoulder. Is amazing for knockout jabs too. However - I have not been stepping outside like you’re showing, but I just did and that definitely adds even greater power! Thank you :-)

Focusing on the opposite shoulder relly helps. Thanks

Thank you so much. I hadn’t really thought about my motions enough here but I’m going to try drilling these:
-using the wall to make the cross more efficient
-focusing on the opposite shoulder when throwing the cross

Ooowee got that pepper. 🌶️ Thank you for the learning moments. I gotta look up more of these videos like how they knee or kick without the robotic chambering like in karate and TKD. Very cool fight methods. Go Sylvie 🎉

Throwing it like that you telegraph nothing, and you have good stabbing power. Good job lol, I'm 200lbs, and with your training, I really think you would take me out easy.

Thanks for this. I was told to raise my elbow when throwing a straight.

I think I'll listen to you and Sagat instead. :p

Using the same foot position as Sylvie, how about doing the left jab? Do I 'pull' my right shoulder back?

Silvie Thanks for the great videos. When I was watching a previous video with Sagat it looked like he left his knuckles vertical and didn't twist the punch at the end. Is this how he always throws or does he switch it up, based on his next attack?
