I was ranked in the top 100 some years back and played the #5 ranked player in the world. Up to that game, the highest ranked players i went head to head with were ranked #15 and up. It was night and day playing the #5. The final score, sadly, was 60 something to zero. He knew every play, every audible on defense and offense I attempted to use. How he knew the playbooks was like muscle memory. It was insane. I thought I was really good up until then. It's definitely a humbling experience, but I didn't quit mid game, and he gave me props for running it to the end. 😅

And this is why I haven't played Madden in a couple years, on TD Barrett's 4th in inches his opponent comes out with one down lineman and somehow the offensive line glitches out and lets his user run right through the line. That's some super realistic football there
