I want to write mine about the way that running changed my life, how it changed my thinking, work ethic, and relationship. Even though i don't plan on going to college for any sports.

I have the opposite problem. I have a lot of important events that actually changed a lot in my life but I don't want to actually share these stuff with anyone.
I'll end up writing it about a hobby or something along those lines, most likely

I initially felt this way also. However, everyone has a story to tell, so just think about things such as activities, hobbies, passions, etc.

I'm Hispanic from Puerto Rico but very very pale. As a result, people often tell me that I'm not really Hispanic and that I'm "stealing other people's culture" [Like wtf man I'm just eating arroz con gandules get outta my face]. I wrote my college essay on how people try to take my culture away from me and often don't believe my Hispanic roots and followed all your advice on writing college essays. I kid you not, I've been accepted into every single university I've applied to and have gotten scholarships from them all as well. Thank you so much for the tips!

not a life changing event, but i’m thinking of writing the first time i received my fencing lamé with my name on the back of it. before that i had to borrow from my club and was in like a huge sports block but it js pulled me out of it

Another thing that helps is when something special happens(it doesnt have to be big) that makes you feel good you can jott it down in a note book

Wrote my college essay about Minecraft of all things and got accepted to some high tier colleges (RIT, RPI, UBuffalo). You can make it about anything as long as you keep it interesting and grammatically correct.

Do you think writing about going from being home schooled to attending a regular high school would be a good idea? I just don't know if colleges would look down on someone who was homeschooled.
