I loved it! The only thing I had a problem with was Kitty suddenly being into Yuri. Like they could’ve done it really nicely but instead it felt random and rushed. Like she just suddenly had strong feelings for her out of nowhere. There were no hints she liked her then bam suddenly she was into her!
Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s fun and light hearted and I enjoyed the little references back to the movies.

1. it was so annoying that kitty didn't even bother to learn any korean. it's not just disrespectful like they could've had such a cute moment where one of the characters teach her korean and it would've felt to wholesome but i guess not. it's fine if you can't be fluent right away like obviously that's not possible but if she was so excited to go there (to study, i might add) she could've learnt to at least say hi properly.
2. i honestly didn't have many problems with kitty exploring her sexuality with yuri or whatever but the pacing felt so off. it all just felt rushed like one of the writers had an idea at the last moment and thought "yeah let;s just add that."
3. the whole show kind of rubbed of the wrong way. the songs they added, for example, had nothing to do with the plot. it made some sense sometimes, (hot by seventeen playing at minho's entrance) but most of the time it just felt like they put "kpop on" on shuffle and put any song that came up. like when she's looking for her long lost half brother, why the hell is i can't stop me by twice playing in the background?
4. the show was 100% written by koreaboos. there is no denying that tbh. the way it was filmed, the dialogues, music everything. they just wanted to profit off of the growing popularity of kdramas and kpop and what better way to do this than making a teen drama in korea ?
overall, bad show in my opinion but i can see how people would like it.

i am SO against yuri and kitty being together. it’s not because i don’t want a lesbian girl lead, it’s because it just… doesn’t work. their chemistry is a lot more sisterly and friend like. and kitty’s feelings for yuri was so sudden it made me really confused. plus, yuri and juliana are made for each other. the show was good up until ep 6, after that, it was just chaos. love-wise, it was a mess. they had a whole love square going on and whatever was going on between q and florian. i did however enjoy the plot with yuri finding out she had a half brother, that DID fit into the plot. i’m just really upset bc i was looking forward to this show for the past month, and i know it’s gonna receive some backlash. HOWEVER, i do really want a season 2, i loved the ending.

I had mixed feelings about this show. The first 20min in the series…I couldn’t watch it anymore. They played a K-pop song every 5min when they introduce a new character. I think it was unnecessary…it was also kinda cringey with the whole plot. Because logically speaking what parent lets their 16 year old daughter travel to a country by herself, which has no knowledge of…doesn’t even know the language or culture…just because she misses her boyfriend. I don’t know, this feels like something I would write when I was 15 & and publish on Wattpad.
I love the actors, but I wished they had just hired a Korean director.

I really liked Dae n Kitty chemistry which out of nowhere got interrupted by her sudden drastic change of feelings for Yuri.. which felt rushed, awkward n not organic …
I loved what Juliana n Yuri had pure love m passion
also I loved Minho’s character soo much bt I m tired with “enemy to lovers” trope in kdramas n I hate that this is going towards the same .. I mean Minho - Kitty are like sheldon- penny.. they have the best bond n chemistry but can be kept platonic n awesome
Kitty n Q had the best bud bond in the entire show..
I hated Florian n Maddison at the last few episodes..

The everybody crushing on everybody is very real for teenagers. Idk I think everyone expects too much out of every show. It was fun. It gave me wattpad vibes in the best way.

I just finished it with my little sister! It was cute but chaotic in the wrong ways & predictable in the wrong ways sometimes with the “twists” so I can see where you’re coming from. I was entertained & enjoyed it overall

Yeah I just finished it and I kinda agree they teased she would be falling in love with someone else and I thought okay and it would be fine if it was anybody else but Yuri cause she already had her own story and it was sweet but interrupted by kitty, it didn’t end happily like to all the boys and I think it was crazy how many crushes there were for all of them and I agree it was about everyone else but her they could have had little simple love stories in the background but they just made it all messy it feels like they are just distracting people with different plots

Yeah Kitty was all over the place. Soooo confused with who she is, what she wants, and it was all because she was just too young to be by herself in another country. It just seemed like she was just so desperate to be in love like her sister that she took any opportunity to have feelings for anyone. It didn’t seem genuine, her feelings for Yuri it seemed so forced and poor Dae, they literally villanized the main character because she dumped him for Yuri, who was already with someone else-!! TOO MUCH. I felt like I needed to get out of bed and take a WALK. It was a terrible stress fest watching this!!!! I couldn’t even finish it. And it’s such a shame too!!!
