I’m soooo glad wide leg pants are in! I’ve always loved them and I think they look great on women (like me) who have small waists and larger legs. Wide leg pants give you the ability to change the look of your leg. Skinny jeans are very unforgiving.

Being petite, oversize anything doesn't work for me, so I'll be retaining my slim and straight cut pants, and fitted or cropped jackets. I've had 7 decades to perfect my style and am still a work in progress! Adapting my wardrobe to accommodate lifestyle changes while staying in touch with trends is the fun part!

Shackets are frumpy, but crop version is cool. Hard to find ankle socks that aren't thick. 💖

I got a Uniqlo puffer navy vest from last season that is not too puffy (lighter weight) and gave me lots of compliments. The quilt jackets are perfect for early fall and spring. I love the way you suggested we style the shacket by belting it.

Shackets are shapeless, mannish and unflattering, I don’t understand why anyone likes them, unless they want to be mistaken for guys at a distance.

I picked up a sweater vest last year, I enjoy wearing it with my wide leg pants. I also picked up a tailored pinstripe vest from the men's department at the SA, much cheaper that way.

Love tailored suits, even mini skirts (I buy them a size larger (so they aren’t too tight and too short) and tights in the winter.

I have the thick knit longer vest. I’m thinking about wearing them with oversized shirts with jeans and pants. I don’t have a puffer vest. I want a longer one with a belt. The last one is the one I’m looking at. I own several Shackets. I love them. Plaid, tweed. Long and hip length. Compliments every time I’m wearing one. I’m always in for over the knee boots and knee high boots. I am planning on getting a dumpling clutch bag. I have a mix of oversized and fitted blazers. Sweater dresses and sweaters. I think I’m covered.

Your background is cute the way you decorated for fall. Believe it or not I have two quilted puffer vests and two shackets in my online shopping cart. I bought one of each last fall and got some good use out of them so I thought if I pick them up now I'll have a better selection. They're both wonderful layering pieces for warmth and style. Is the cable knit sweater still going to be in stores?

I am glad tall boots are back. Can I wear my Frye boots and be in style? My small size is not available. I take a size 4. Love tights. All I can think of with matching knits are the 1950s and the horrible 1990s knit wear of the 90s. Love the quilted vests.

Thanks for the clog comment. I love them but was waffling on buying a pair think about cost per wear being too dear. But now maybe not!
