The only thing that I would like to say is that it’s Lovejoy, not just Wilbur Soot. It’s a whole band, not just the lead singer. Other than that, I do think that this is the only blend of the two that actually sound great! The two blend in with each other instead of being in two completely different keys. Great work!!

this cover is so interesting to me because they probably chose to record in a different key just to record in a different key. like, he very clearly has control over his voice in the original key, he’s capable. the fact that he fits almost perfectly with the original backing track shows it.

I just find it disappointing when Will’s voice has gotten way better since lovejoy debuted, and even his solo works too. now he's leaning towards singing the off key thing and it's not the most amazing choice.

I think they should let him sing properly, and how he truly feels it should be sung, whether it's style or tone etc.

I have a lot of love for Wilbur and I've been here since the start of his music career, knowing he grew so much makes me feel like a proud mom. I love this song but Wilburs voice in the cover was a bit off key but when the two songs are merged it's actually not even that bad.

Everyone says they don’t like it bc it’s in the wrong key, but sounds so soothing like this?? Like Lovejoy’s version feels very calming and relaxing and somewhat nostalgic for some reason?? imo Lovejoy’s version is better than the original, even if it’s in the wrong key
